Immediate job opportunities include:

Environmental Consultant:

  • Degree or equivalent in a natural resource related science or engineering subject, ideally with a higher degree in an environmental discipline and/or experience gained in an international (non-UK) environment.
  • Understanding of mining concepts and activities, and their likely impact on the bio-physical and social environment.
  • Evidence of exposure to different environmental disciplines including air, water, geochemistry, noise, biodiversity/ ecology, social and cultural issues.
  • Experience of contributing to impact assessments and project development studies, ideally for international (non-UK) projects.
  • Understanding international environmental and social practices.
  • Excellent report and proposal writing skills requiring strong English language skills (verbal and written).

Senior Resource Geologist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in geology or mining engineering (Master’s degree will be an advantage);
  • Professional Geologist status, QP will be an asset;
  • Familiarity with computerized geologic modeling and resource estimation software (Gemcom, Surpac or Datamine);
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in resource estimation with demonstrated geostatistical skills;
  • Ability to independently generate, implement and complete work assignments in a dynamic environment (prior consulting experience preferred);
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-work capabilities;>
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally.

Senior Civil Engineer:

  • An undergraduate degree in civil or mining engineering;
  • A minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience (mining environment preferred, either in operations, mine planning or as a consultant)
  • Excellent analytical, organization and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision;
  • Strong inter-personal communication and writing skills; and
  • Working knowledge of civil engineering software and Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel.
